The iRFP - Institute for Traffic Planning Systems - is an owner-operated company, founded in 1997 in Dresden/Germany. It combines railway operations and its correlations with other areas of the transportation sector. The two main areas of our business are consulting and the development of our software FBS, the computer-aided graphic timetable construction system, which offers an integrated solution for construction and generation of all timetable documents required during daily railroad operation.

Besides programming and distributing FBS, iRFP acts as a link between university research and practical application. So it provides the interface between engineering science and organisation, as well as operation of modern traffic systems.

In addition to our head office in Dresden, we have been running two representative branches in Prague and Paris from 2002
