Dear all
Currently <gradientCurve>s are documented in a cense of definition of an element and attributes [1]. However it is not clear how to apply their model in practice.
railML.org wants to add some concrete examples into the "Best practice" section in the Wiki, therefore suggests a first draft of the relationships between the model of gradients of railML3 and the drawing of a vertical alignment (profile) of the railway track [2].
Please answer the following questions:
(1) Do you agree with the interpretation of <gradientCurve> in the presentation [2] ?
(2) Should the set of examples be extended with e.g. different stages of the construction of the railway track?
